Vilnius Old Town Tours Activities Hotels
A long trip to Lithuania brought me to write a guide for the independent tourist. This is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe and cities that are beginning to wake up after freezing in time.Vilnius Old Town Tours Activities Hotels
Why travel in Lithuania and the capital Vilnius?
Not just because it's a relatively cheap trip. The country has not yet suffered a shock from travelers. One of the only places in Europe that has not yet opened tourist traps. A clean country with spectacular views of ancient cities and stunning beaches along the Baltic Sea.
In summary, this is an amazing trip experience that includes a mix of cities, history landscapes and simply excellent food. For those who want to expect nightlife in Vilnius internationally

Cellular in Lithuania Surf packages in Lithuania
Cellular prices in Vilnius are just hilarious. Go to any local Tesco kiosk or branch and you can purchase a local Sim with 6GB per month and local calls for no more than € 5. There is no wifi everywhere and you will usually find that there is a password in most cafes. It is definitely worthwhile in Lithuania to purchase a local sim and not to purchase a surf package from the country in advance.

Trakai Castle & National Park Gothic red fortress surrounded by lake
The fort built in the 15th century encompasses a chain of lakes and lies on the shores of a picturesque town. The first time I visited the place I could not reach the fort. The second time I had no doubt that I wanted to explore the place. I recommend a day trip from Vilnius to - or as part of a trip from Vilnius to Kaunas.

Jewish Quarter vilnius
Until the start of World War II, the city was a world-wide Jewish center. After the Holocaust, the remains of visual remains were mainly visual. However, the story of the Jewish community is fascinating, regardless of opinions.
The entire Jewish history is shaped by the presence of Jews in the capital of Lithuania, the spiritual development of Eastern European Jews may have ceased with the occupation of the state by the Germans. But tourists remain a fascinating tour where the past still peeps from all sides and tells a fascinating story.
You can also tour the Vilnius Jewish Quarter without a guide.
