We will start the trip in Nazareth and find a parking spot on the main street of the city.  parallel to the market street and therefore it is recommended to park the car in one of the nearby parking lots. Prices are definitely reasonable.

The first stop is Market Nazareth as it is called in some of the navigation maps. It is about 100 meters uphill, and on both sides of the road, pilgrim shops offer souvenirs similar to the Old City market in Jerusalem.

This is one of the most important churches in Christianity.

According to the church’s belief, the entrance is to one of Jesus’ residential places. This is a relatively modern building built on an old Byzantine church and is well remembered in Mark Twain Pleasure Excursion to the Holy Land .

Entrance to the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth is free but you must arrive in modest clothing otherwise the guard will not allow you to enter. ALL complex is built of two floors.

On the first floor is a collection of frescoes from around the world dedicated to the church.

From the entrance you enter the basilica hall where the cave is located and then you can ascend to the second and impressive floor.

The Nazareth market has local flavors and aromas alongside Chinese merchandise

A tour of the Nazareth market takes up to an hour.  plastic and cotton items from the Far East and some are saturated with the flavors and smells of the city. Coffee shops, fruit shops and full-fledged vegetables await you all year round.

Along with pickled olives sellers, fresh ground coffee can be found and taken to the house.

At the end of Market Street, we will be able to return to the main street through one of the alleys, directly to Nazareth’s main street or to Paulus VI Street, where there are plenty of candy stores that will probably be close to where we parked the car two hours earlier.
